The European Union (EU) is an economic and political union of 27 member states located primarily in Europe. The EU is the largest economy in the world by nominal GDP. It is also the largest importer and exporter of goods and services and the largest trading partner to several countries like India and China.
178 of the top 500 firms by revenue are headquartered in Europe. Romania became a part of the EU on 1st January 2007. The other member states of the EU are (In Alphabetical order):

Being a member of EU give Romanian companies access to an integrated free market and access to the largest and most densely populated areas featuring the maximum number of global cities in the world. Such a rich access to resources ensures that companies in the EU have access to good capital and technology resources.
The EU countries feature the Euro 
as the common currency.
